This guide is general information only and isn't a diagnosis. A podiatrist can assess what's causing your pain.
Why we work this way
John and Claude both had sore feet and legs themselves. Orthotics helped for a while, then the relief faded, the same thing many of their patients described. So they looked for another way.
Our approach looks at foot posture: how the joints of your feet and legs line up and move. When something is out of alignment, extra load goes onto joints, tendons and muscles.
Hands-on foot mobilisation
Gentle techniques to help stiff joints in the feet and legs move better.
Corrective exercises
Simple exercises you do at home to build strength and support.
Gait and posture retraining
Guidance on how you stand and walk, so you understand what's going on.
Not every condition suits this approach. Some need conventional treatment, or a mix of both, and we'll tell you if that's the case.
What happens at your first visit
Your initial consultation is $130.
Assessment
A thorough look at your feet, legs, posture and the way you walk, plus a chat about your history.

Common questions
How much is the first appointment?
The initial consultation is $130. It includes a full assessment and an explanation of what the podiatrist finds.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly with either clinic.
Will I need ongoing appointments?
It depends on what the assessment shows. If treatment is recommended, your podiatrist will explain how long it's likely to take and the cost before you start.
Can I keep wearing my orthotics?
Bring them along. Your podiatrist will talk through whether they're still needed. Some people continue to use them alongside treatment.
